Venita was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Walter Wade, husband, Pearl Loftin; brother Douglas Allen; and her youngest son, Zane Wade. Venita served as the bookkeeper for the Lamesa Press-Reporter and South Plains Printing for well over 30 years during two stints before retiring in 2012. She held an ownership interest in the newspaper and served on the board of directors for about 20 years. She also attended Grace Lutheran Church, Klondike Baptist Church and Crestview Baptist Church throughout her lifetime. Venita loved her family and will be greatly missed.
